Sumedang, – In order to support the government’s program, the West Java Regional Police Detachment personnel carry out dialogical patrols to provide appeals and invite the public to participate actively in implementing the Health Protocol with the adaptation of New Habits (New Normal).
The routine patrol activities carried out by the Gegana Detachment Personnel today are led by the commander of the Aiptu patrol team, Dani Mahdani. Together with five personnel, the aim is to invite the public to always comply with health protocols. Thursday (18/03/2021).
Patrol activities are carried out in several places that are the center of the jurisdiction of the Jatinangor sector, including markets, sub-district offices, village offices, and motorcycle taxi bases and other places.
The activities carried out by the patrol officers are giving an appeal by using loudspeakers at crowded points and then having direct dialogue with local residents.
Among them are the obligation to wear a mask, maintain distance and always maintain cleanliness by washing hands with soap and running water, which aims to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The main appeal to the public emphasizes that they always obey government regulations regarding Physical Distancing, and wear masks when leaving the house, to prevent transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
The officers also reminded the public to always wash their hands with soap, avoid touching their mouths and noses, not shake hands, keep their distance from the person beside them and always maintain cleanliness.
“To the wise and wise citizens of society, we appeal to them to always obey government regulations to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Among them are wearing a mask when on the move, maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding environment, avoiding crowds by keeping a distance then always washing hands with soap, “Aiptu Dani appealed.
“Besides we appeal to the community regarding health protocols, we appeal to all members of the community if there is social security disturbance around the neighborhood, they are expected to immediately contact our motorized patrol team or contact the nearest police station so that it can be handled directly,” said Aiptu Dani.
West Java Police Mobile Brigade Commander Kombes Pol. Yuri Karsono, SIK, conveyed the message, “We continue to carry out disciplinary patrol activities and call for Health Protocols to the community every day in accordance with government programs. We are trying to defend the Sumedang area so that the spread of Covid -19 can be minimized. We also hope that the awareness and active role of the community will always be disciplined in implementing the Health Protocol. We do this with the aim of preventing and breaking the chain of spreading Covid -19 in the jurisdiction of the West Java Regional Police so that people can carry out activities comfortably and safely, “he added.
Kombes Pol. Yuri Karsono, SIK, added that “this activity is a form of West Java Police Mobile Brigade Service for the community in presenting the State in the midst of society,” he concluded.
