These miners are outside the PT Timah IUP and this is in a watershed area which is protected by law and so that miners can operate in the PT Timah IUP.
Deputy Chief of Police of Bangka Police Commissioner Faisal Fatsey, S IK said “Miners can mine but it must comply with the regulations and miners must mine at the PT Timah IUP,” he said.
