Tolikara – Routine Posyandu activities organized by the Tolikara Branch of the Kemala Bhayankari Foundation in collaboration with Health Workers to conduct Health Checks on infants and pregnant women, Thursday (18/03).
These activities include weighing babies, giving vitamins and examining and consulting pregnant women.
This activity was attended by Mrs. Saidah Kasrim Mrs. Lina BInoto and Mrs. Oktaviani Akhyatul while from the Karubaga puskesmas Yulianti Agus Sobon, A.Md.Keb, Dian Masiga, SKM and Sila Rumpaidus, A.Md.Kep
During the event, the Head of Tolikara Police, AKBP DR, Y. Takamully, SH, MH took the time to provide assistance in the form of mosquito nets for posyandu participants.
“The provision of this mosquito net is a symbol that the National Police cares for the health of children, from the womb to toddlers, about the dangers of malaria. The Papua region is also one of the areas with the potential for malaria danger, “said the Chief of Police.
Chairman of Bhayangkari Tolikara Branch Ny. Maria Takamully on the occasion said that the posyandu activities of the Kemala Bhayangkari foundation were very positive to provide and ensure the health of babies, toddlers and pregnant women so they would avoid dangerous diseases such as malaria and covid-19 at this time. It is hoped that parents in Tlikara district can attend the posyandu for their children because it is free of charge.
“Always apply health protocols to create a healthy family to avoid all diseases during the current Covid-19 pandemic, so that the nation’s future is guaranteed from our future generations,” concluded Chairman Bhayangkari.
