Ciamis, –Various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 continue to be carried out by the Ciamis Police of the West Java Police, one of which is the submission of an appeal for health protocols to citizens in the jurisdiction of the West Java Police Ciamis Police. This appeal was carried out in several downtown points of Ciamis Regency, West Java, Friday (26/2/2021).
This activity was led by Ipda Marsidi accompanied by KBO Sabhara Polres Ciamis Ipda P. Arie Parantoro and involved dozens of joint personnel from the Ciamis Police functional unit. The functional units involved include Sat Sabhara, Binmas, Lantas, Intelligence and Criminal Investigation, Drugs Detective, and Propam.
West Java Police Head of Ciamis Polda AKBP Hendria Lesmana, SIK, M.Sc., said the submission of this appeal was a form of Police concern for the public in preventing the spread of Covid-19. Because one of the health protocols is the use of masks properly and correctly, one of the most effective and efficient ways to avoid exposure to Covid-19.
“We are delivering the health protocol appeal massively every day to remind and raise public awareness to always use masks when doing activities in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. We will carry out this activity in the Pasar Manis Ciamis area, Ciamis Terminal, Taman Lokasana, and Hotel Tyara, ”said the Police Chief.
The Head of Police added that this appeal and giving of masks will continue to be carried out in the jurisdiction of the West Java Regional Police Ciamis Police, which has two Regional Government areas, Ciamis Regency and Pangandaran Regency. So that it is expected to minimize the spread of Covid-19.
“The proper and correct use of masks is one part of the implementation of the Covid-19 preventive health protocol. namely 5M, wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, limiting mobility, and avoiding crowds, “he concluded.
In a separate place the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol. Erdi A. Chaniago, SIK, M.Sc., informed that currently the PPKM micro program is being implemented in order to minimize the spread of Covid-19 and this Micro PPKM has been extended again until March 8, 2021.
