SUMEDANG, – In Sumedang Square, a woro-woro patrol was carried out in order to convey health protocols directly to the public as an effort to break the Covid-19 chain, Monday (15/3/2021).
The activity was led by KBO Sat then Sumedang Police, Iptu Suratman accompanied by the Head of Subnit II Dalmas of the Sumedang Police, Bripka Riki Fajar, and was carried out by members of the Sumedang Police Sabhara Unit, as well as members of the Sumedang Police Sat Traffic Unit.
The health protocols presented include wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, avoiding crowds, washing hands using clean water and soap.
Sumedang Police Chief AKBP Eko Prasetyo made an appeal about health protocol by using a bicycle. This activity is routinely carried out every Sunday morning in Sumedang square and other public places where there are crowds of people.
“We assign cycling patrols from members of the Dalmas and Polres Sumedang Police. It is hoped that by giving advice on health protocols like this, the public will pay more attention,” he said.
“We hope that the public will be more disciplined in regards to health protocols, which are currently still under the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said. (Abas)
